Darren has over 25 years’ experience of working within the Financial Services Industry. In 2011 after many of the large corporate financial companies pulled out of the financial services industry, Darren decided it was time to set up his own company and with the Support of Paul Hancox, On 28th September 2011 Crystal Clear Financial Planning was born! Darren and Paul, we’re the Directors of CCFPL until Paul retired in 2022.
Since 2011, the CCFPL team has continued to grow and develop to ensure that together we are achieving the best outcomes for our customers. No matter where the future takes CCFPL, it will always remain a company focused on core values, principles and trust, started back in 2011 by 2 friends.
Darren has the overall responsibility in exploring new and existing business opportunities, developing business strategies for growth within the Mortgage and Protection markets and supporting his team in being the best that they can be and providing a great customer service to all of our clients, new or existing. His strong desire and passion to be the guiding hand through a client’s financial needs, came from being a fully qualified financial adviser and holding a diploma in Financial Services along with other notable accreditations.
Outside of work, Darren loves spending time with his family. Darren has been married to his lovely wife Coral for over 30 years now and together they have a daughter, Lauren, who joined the CCFPL family in 2022 and son, Samuel, who is currently doing an apprenticeship in Engineering.
He also has a love for travelling and playing all sports. Darren is the coach and club treasurer for his son’s local football team, Littleover Dazzlers and he has been for nearly 10 years!
