Dermot’s journey in financial services began in August 1974 with Nationwide, where he gained a solid foundation in the industry. In 1987, he joined TSB as a financial advisor, expanding his knowledge and expertise in providing tailored financial solutions for clients.
On November 5th 1990, Dermot decided the time was right to start his own company and Millbyrn was born! In 2000, the company evolved into Millbryn Mortgages, cementing its focus on mortgage and protection advice.
Most recently, in October 2024, Millbryn Mortgages became a trading style of CCFPL, ensuring clients continue to receive expert advice for their financial needs.
Outside of work, Dermot enjoys hitting the golf course, although he admits there’s room for improvement in his game. Dermot enjoys being sociable— he’ll never pass up the chance for good company and a drink!
